hrap
hiya one of our chickens who is 5 years old is limping as in she won't put any weight on it she just hops about, there is no wound. She is fine otherwise. This has been going on for about 2 days now we brought her inside but no improvment. does anyone have any idea what could be going on. I would rather not take her to the vets as the stress would probably be to much. Plum
Sorry to hear it, poor thing. I would get her checked at the vet. If she's well otherwise it doesn't mean the end. If you take her to the vet put her in a dark box and I find they calm down if you put music on the car radio. Sorry I don't have the experience to advise anything else. I agree, a vet may be able to shed some light on the problem. My limping chicken still lays, scratches and leads a normal happy chicken life.
