Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

At least one of my Pekins is still laying, and produced an egg for me on Christmas Day. Almost as if she knew OH had got me an Egg Skelter for my Christmas present this year .

Even when laid in nice clean bedding my lot seem to come in with filthy feet & make the eggs all mucky

 

I wish my Pekins would get the message................Blossom laid for about a week back in September, then went broody & gave up on all that pushing malarkey........
