Food processor

Recommended Posts

Probably a bit late now....but I have a Kenwood FP688 Multi Pro, no longer available, but it has been very reliable and has loads of attachments. It has a small bowl which fits in the top of the larger bowl and is excellent for small amounts.

I'm not sure which of the current ones is similar....I'll have a look.

I'm sure I bought mine from Argos.

I must admit I'm a Kenwood fan, but my advice is probably a bit dated. The food processor I've got contains both a big bowl for the general blitzing etc., but also a place on top where things like a liquidiser can go. Moreover, the bit on top is the same shape as the top of my Kenwood Chef, so I can mix and match between food processor and food mixer. Both have been so reliable they've lasted about 15 years so far, and Kenwood's spare parts provision is so good that when attachments have worn out (like the rubber seal on one of the liquidisers), I've been able to get replacement bits with no bother at all.

Thanks for your replies. Have been out today and come home with a Kenwood Multi Pro 730 which seems to do everything I need and more. Not sure I will ever use all the attachments but it does have a large bowl and also a smaller bowl that fits on top which is what I was looking for. It was also in the sale!! :D:clap:
