I really do need to get to Aberystwyth, but not if I'm going to be putting myself in danger... I work in the NHS and we have a hospice in Aberystwyth and we have had awful problems with staff being unable to get to work. My advice, leave it another day or two. The A40 around Carmarthen was ok and the A485 wasn't too ok as well, not sure about further over. I know some people who work along the New Quay road and they went back to work yesterday.
