Milliechick
Hello, me again full of questions at the moment! Are there any suggestions on what I can give my girls in the way of treats at the moment? Due to this white stuff they're not too keen on coming out, so they need something to keep them occupied. (Corn lasts all of two minutes)! Thank you!
scrambledhead
Mine are very keen on apples and pears which I halve and put in the run, you could also try hanging things up like cabbage or corn on the cob.
emchook
Mine love apples as well . But the are going bonkers for savoy cabbage at the moment
Space Chick
If you are after something warming, how about mixing some pellets with hot water to make a porridge and add some treats to it like finely chopped cabbage, grapes or corn. Mine are going wild for their warming porridge at the moment
Milliechick
Can they have porridge oats?

Carol U
I hang up half cabbages in their run, but put them quite high so that they have to jump a bit. The exercise keeps them both warm and occupied. It also stops them from eating the cabbage too quickly!
Milliechick
Ok, what about the sprouts on stalks? Or is that a definate no no?
JM
Sprouts - on or off stalks - are a definite yes-yes for my girls (and dog!)!
