Smart Feeder - Light sensor values

HI.

I wonder if anybody can offer any advice. Poor Mr Charles has developed a limp over about the last month. There is no sign of injury at all. It doesnot seem to be getting worse or better.

It doesn't look like a weight bearing injury, as he appears to struggle to move it before putting his weight on it.

 

It doen'#st seem to overly bother him and he can still do the deed with his ladies. SHould I just let him be?

Have you ruled out bumble foot?

 

You could try confining him to see if there is a sprain which may heal but this could stress him out if he isnt used to being confined

If it was me, I would leave him with the others and just monitor him for now.

 

He may have possibly landed awkwardly. Hopefully he'll be fine in a day or two, if symptoms persist maybe ring the vet.

How is he HEN?

 

My Custard has been limping since well before Xmas and although the vet gave her anti-inflm and antibiotics she relapsed after only a day or so of improvement. Like Charles, she seems happy enough but very unsteady. No injuries, no sign of sprain.

 

The vet did say it was sometimes a symptom of Marek's disease which is fatal but I am simply monitoring her now and as she is eating, drinking and pootling about am not sure what more I can do.

 

Hope you are getting signs of improvement.
