HENthusiastic Posted January 13, 2010 Share Posted January 13, 2010 HI. I wonder if anybody can offer any advice. Poor Mr Charles has developed a limp over about the last month. There is no sign of injury at all. It doesnot seem to be getting worse or better. It doesn't look like a weight bearing injury, as he appears to struggle to move it before putting his weight on it. chelsea Posted January 13, 2010 Share Posted January 13, 2010 If it was me, I would leave him with the others and just monitor him for now. He may have possibly landed awkwardly. My Custard has been limping since well before Xmas and although the vet gave her anti-inflm and antibiotics she relapsed after only a day or so of improvement. Like Charles, she seems happy enough but very unsteady. No injuries, no sign of sprain. The vet did say it was sometimes a symptom of Marek's disease which is fatal but I am simply monitoring her now and as she is eating, drinking and pootling about am not sure what more I can do.
