How to stop a bully.

Recommended Posts

I have seperated Lola today as she has been pulling Lily's feathers out, she will have to stay on her own [ back in with the others at night] until the Ukadex I have ordered arrives and I get chance to spray Lily. Without Lola the others seem much happier as Lola can be a bit of a bully. Will keeping her on her own for a few days help take her down a peg or two and should I bumper bit her when she does go back with the others, probably at the weekend.

Have you tried playing top chook?

When my buff orp gets a bit bolshy I press down on her back (Mr Chicken stylee)...she does wander off in a sulk but she is so dim that she instantly forgets that she was using a Cream Legbar as an all you can eat feather buffet!

Obvioulsy this only works if you are with the chooks. Said Cream Legbar is liberally sprayed with Anti-peck spray also.
