Gelbel
Hello - I know you good people will come up with some ideas or be able to reassure me. I have a wooden run and house so I've not used the grub and glug (properly) before - they were used as secondary feeding/drinking stations in the 'outer run' The grub was used out there - not sure about the glug (ie rain could top it up). However, on Sunday I decided to remove the hanging feeder and drinker from the secure run and use the grub and glug. This gives the girls more room in the run on those days I have to lock them up (given they have grown so much since we first got them). However, the girls have not taken to using either. Fear not - they have access to water - but only in the outer run. And until I know they will use the glug I will never leave them locked in without another source of water. Putting corn and even mealworms into the grub did not work at the pre bed time treat yesterday either. Any ideas to get them using the grub and glug? I am loathed to keep the girls locked in even if I am about to keep an eye on things just to get them used to using the new containers. I did let them FR some of Saturday and all day Sunday - so that with yesterday's lack of pellets via the grub means egg production is down. I'm not fussed - but the next pal on my weekend egg pressie list will be! Thanks in advance.
Lewis
They should get used to it Leave them with it and see how they get on, and they will get hungry so have to eat from them
