My confirmation Bible has red letters for whatever Jesus says and a useful concordance and reference section. Congratulations to him! Either a leather bound one to keep or (depending on his age) you can get bibles aimed particularly for young people such as the youth bible or the street bible. A real mix of poets in there as well, but all "accessible" stuff, and not like a school exercise book!! I also got my own copy of the service book our church uses. I know many churches now rely on over head projection screens etc now, so maybe that is not as valid as it used to be... I also received a lovely necklace - but guessing not so good for a boy, but how about a nice watch? Or any other piece of male jewellary if he is into it?
