Bluebells?

Recommended Posts

I'm thinking of getting some electric fencing to extend the area in which my girls can wander safely. However there are loads of Spanish bluebells spreading across this part of the garden, will these harm them if they dig them up and eat them? or won't they bother with them as there are plenty of other things for them to dig about in?

I thought this was going to be a thread about Bluebelle hens, I'm getting one shortly so I was a bit excited!

I agree - generally speaking, they don't tend to eat things that disagree with them, and even when they eat stuff they shouldn't (like rhubarb  ) it doesn't seem to do them any harm. If you want to keep the bluebells, fence them off!
