Unsecure chicken perches

Before my WIR is built I have a man coming to cut my trees, currently I use Auboise in my run, but do you think I should use the free tree bark chippings in the new WIR? I am really happy with the auboise and intend to continue using it but would like to know if anyone has good comments about the bark, or should I just tell the guy to take it away with him

Hi, I'm afraid I don't really know. Just surfing (I usually read the rabbit forum). I have however noticed that a couple of postings down there is someone else talking about wood (chips) from their tree surgeon, which might help you.

I would use it they love ferreting for insects and its free. You can chuck a bucket of aubiose in if you want to freshen it up.

Thanks Plummy, will just tell him I want to keep it, He is not coming until Friday to cut the trees, I cant wait for him to get started, going to take piccys from Friday morning onwards.

Can't wait to see it happening . I'm still planning, one day its one way the next another but I can't really do anything until I get a quote to see how much ground preperation is going to cost.
