Having a few problems with current chook house so i am thinking of persuading OH into letting me upgrade to Cube.

Can the cube be easily dismantled/part dismantled and then reassembled in one day to be moved to chicken sitter house when we go away in summer? (without causing too much distress to chooks)

As long as you have an electric screwdriver! :)

My last cube was pre-loved and I drove to Manchester (from cambridge), took apart cube, drove back to cambridge and then built cube all in one day! :)

And four chooks travelled home with me. Each rewarded me with eggs on their journey and the day after too!

Slept well that night mind!

Depends how much you have to break it down to get it in the car ... it took me a couple of hours to take mine apart on Sunday so I could jet-wash it in preparation for sale, and I didn't take the wheels off. An electric screwdriver and a spare pair of hands would have helped! The roof lifts off, the sides are only held on by a couple of brackets, but it took quite a while to undo the clips that hold the run on, as well as unclipping the run itself (evil green clips  ).

I'm sure it's do-able, but I would say you'd need to allow a couple of hours at each end of the journey - although when I did an Omlet show, I'm sure it didn't take that long to dismantle it at the end!
