MedusA Posted February 21, 2010 Share Posted February 21, 2010 I posted earlier that I had a soft spot for Darius, so I was surprised but pleased that he won. I think the duet with Rolando was sublime. I think that his performance (and singing) was better in the final. Whilst I had liked Bernie's performances in previous weeks, her nerves got the better of her on the night and made her performance a bit stilted and her high notes very screechy (IMHO). Love his tone, but for me it's a classically tinged show voice. OH thinks it was a fix judging from her humble intro comments - he thinks it was a Darius showboat. Speaking of which - there is NO footage of his infamous Britney Pop Idol audition anywhere on the web. Who's cleaned that up? It was TV genius.
