foxes are living 2 doors down....

Recommended Posts

Yes, I've decided not to let them freerange for a day or two until I get over being scared. I have seen foxes around before so I only ever let them out and follow them around. Worst thing is my neighbour found his cat dead in the next garden this morning. We really hope the neighbour with the foxes didn't put poison down to kill them. It's illegal. The postmortem didn't show anything so it could just be natural causes, but the cat was only 3. Not a good day. I feel sick with worry for my cats so am keeping them in for a couple of days too. So sad.:cry::cry:

Oh thats terrible, I'm so sorry you're so worried. I would be too. Something similar happened a while ago here. Quite a few cats in the neighbourhood went missing and then we found one of my cats dead in the garden. She was only 6 so we had a pm done on her too in case someone was poisoning the cats. It didn't really show anything apart from possible heart problems, but the lack of anything tangible was more due to them keeping Molly in the freezer over a weekend!

I've had two foxes in my garden this week at the same time and it is really scarey so I know how you feel. Try not to worry.

Thanks, I just warned another next door neighbour who has cats. I'm so sorry about Molly. My neighbour wondered about heart attacks too. It's horrible if you don't know.

I'm sure I will be fine tomorrow. I am such a worrier about my cats anyway. God knows what I'd be like if I had children. :D
