Bizzare behaviour

Recommended Posts

I have had chooks for a couple of years now and both our dogs are familiar with them and leave them well alone. That is until we got a couple of new Warrens (little red chickens)My Springer has suddenly decided that the smallest one needs jumping on on a regular basis. He hasn't injured her.......yet and doesn't try to bite her he just 'points' and then springs at her usually bowling her over she just lays there as if to say what just happened? He then stands over her wagging his tail. I've gone up behind him and clapped to make him jump and he slinks off with a shamefaced look, but the next time he goes out he is looking for her again. It's totally bizzare he doesn't bother Blackrocks or Legbar just this one poor warren. Anyone else had anything like this and what did you do? He ain't no pup either he's 10 and as I say used to chickens...well usually :?
