Boris70
Hi All, We've got a new company who are marketing themselves as ethical - however no free range eggs - imagine my surprise - as this should be a given with an ethical company surely??? Any ideas how I can find a free range egg supplier locally to my work (we are close to the Suffolk, Essex Cambs border), as if I can find one - and they'll do a good deal on the eggs - the canteen will change suppliers?? Any help appreciated Vicki
ubereglu
Look up egg suppliers in the yellow pages?
Lesley
How odd - I would have thought it was a given as well. Do you have a Farmers' Market locally? - you could see if any egg provider there has spare capacity to provide a canteen. The egg man on Stratford market provides the cafe we use with eggs. BeckyBoo
How can they call themselves ethical if they're using battery eggs? Makes me wonder what else isn't quite "ethical"? Still at least they've said they're open to change I guess, good luck sourcing the eggs, you could always use it as an excuse to get more hens and supply them yourself?!
