bluekarin
I've just realised a pair of boots that I've just sold on eBay aren't in fact a Clark's pair, as I said, but are in fact an M&S pair Question is, do I come clean, once they have paid or just post them and hope they are so delighted with them that they don't notice? The photos are of the boots I sold, one of which shows the sole with the size and M&S written on it, I just got the name wrong in the title. And the description. Several times at myself

Helly Welly
Send them an email and just let them know it was a mistake. They are far less likely to return them then, whereas if they are not as described they could give you negative feedback.
Chucky Mama
I'd definately tell them and then keep your fingers crossed
bluekarin
Email has been sent so I really hope they are okay with it. I was hoping to send it before they paid, but they paid today. You just never know how the other person is going to take it. Might be getting my first bad feedback though Just have to wait and see
Geoid
Most people don't mind, although there are some idiots on eBay, most of them are understanding.
Redwing
teh same thing happened to me I bought boots as one brand when they turned up they were another, quite possibly a genuine mistake as in your case but because they didnt give me the heads up I felt distinctly conned...until I tried them on and found them to be the most comfy boots ever! The fact that you have emailed them is brilliant and I dare say they spotted the M&S logo in the pic
