carrie
A friend wants to get rid of 4 male rex rabbits ASAP as she is moving house, they will come with the hutch and run and are free. Are 4 male rabbits OK, what do you think I should do.
Little Clucker
I've found that neutered boys are a lot more easy-going than lady buns are they brothers? If they've lived in one space together they should be ok, just make sure there's plenty of room for them to run around or they could get a bit ratty and norty x
franklyrabbit
I don't have experience of male rabbits together. However, I'm assuming that they all share the hutch and run and are used to each other. It's lovely of you to consider having them . When you've visited, have you noticed their behaviour or whether they have signs of having been fighting? Let us know what you decide - if you feel that you couldn't take them on, it would be worth your friend putting a notice up in her vets that they are free for rehoming. When I used to work at our local one, we had quite a bit of success in rehoming. One thing is that you can be pretty sure they will be going to a good home as people who take their pets to the vets are already demonstrating they care and often (and in my case also), the notice is seen by someone who has recently lost a pet and are considering taking on another.
