geb0205
I have found a shop in the village that sells the same organic chicken feed that comes with the Eglu's. My girls need some more now, and I wondered if it was suitable for bantams... anyone know?
chocchick
The content should definately be fine. It would be the size of the pellets that I would query. You could try PMing Claret (if she doesn't answer anyway) as she keeps bantams, I think she may have slightly smaller pellets?
The Dogmother
Hi Ho Silver to the rescue! Yup, they're fine for bantams I'd had trouble in the past with pellets being too big for my girls' delicate little beaks, so I emailed Allen & Page and asked if I could try them on a sample of their pellets. Sample duly arrived and they scoffed the lot
geb0205
Ahh thanks... I live up the road from Dodson and Horrell, and used to feed their poultry feeds, (they came in handy 5kg bags!) But the girls have gone off it, and I wondered if the pellets were too big (and its not organic...) Thanks all, will get some and try it!
