Porkypie
I'm trying to locate somewhere that sells woodchip near to Cambridge or via the internet to deliver. The nearest B&Q that has it stocked is Luton but I've come across this website: http://www.rainbowwoodchips.co.uk/cube/index.php?act=viewCat&catId=7 The (natural) chips don't look as chunky as my current stuff. What do you think? Or does anyone know of another supplier? Thanks
Redwing
Youre right it is not as chunky but is perfectly ok to use, bit expensive though
Lavenders_Blue
Check the yellow pages or google for any tree surgeons in your area. They will often let you have woodchips for free or very little cost.
Porkypie
Thanks. I'll try the tree surgeons

jellykelly
On the back of this thread, I contacted my local tree surgeon. I now have a free load of woodchip coming on monday. Thanks guys
Porkypie
Jellykelly - I'm glad you've got some chip sorted I've sent off requests to several local tree surgeons so hopefully one will be able to supply I need to perform a springclean and am little too eager. When will it stop raining?
jellykelly
If anyone is near Folkestone and would like some - I have LOADS left. The tree surgeon bloke emptied a flat bed trailer onto my rear drive this morning. Hubby is going to kill me if the mountain is still there when he gets home!! Whoops! BarbaraJ
I did consider requesting some for my outside run area but if it got dumped on the drive it would be a pain to get through the house !! think I'll stick to B&Q. That link says you need to order minimum of 4 bags , bit expensive!!
beulah59
I've had a couple of loads from local tree surgeons ... but am struggling to find any just at the moment. It's ideal though
