junior horsey tv prog from the 1970s

Ah yes, Sparky. Now that was a lovely little pony. Trigger was kind of normal body but huge head, but really cute. Apparently Strop was named Strop for the programme - but I thought he was nice - even if he did let Erin fly a few times - ooooch!

I was racking my brains and 2 that I remember - Mr Ed. I loved Mr Ed. The other was my friend Flicker. How fabulous to have a beautiful wild horse come when you call - sigh. The only thing that filled the gap between horsey things was football and Jacques Cousteau - I so wanted to be in the water - which was my second great love of childhood. Hmmm I see similarities between Erin and myself here. Hope she stays slim though.

I have just listened to it on you tube and feel all snotty and tearful. whilst on subject of kids progs of 1970's can anyone remember "carries War" - ie the version released yrs ago and there was a programme I cant remember the name of where machinery was turning against man - I remember a clip where pylons made odd noises when people walked under them - any ideas on the name. i will go and have my happy memories.

I well remember the pylons programme, although I have no recollection of the name I'm afraid. It still gives me the creeps walking anywhere near electric pylons though!
