well I dont have a chicken pop hole at the moment in my WIR and want to add one as when the girls are FR with their WIR door open for them to go back and forth as they please the birds fly in the WIR ans nick their pellets. as I want to stop this I am adding a little chicken door but.... what size should I make it??

Remember I have two orps

[tom123]

40cm x 40cm would probably be perfect for orps

If its not a pop hole in their house then it doesnt really matter what size you make it as long as its big enough, if you make it too small then you cant go back so make it bigger to be on the safe side - I would say Toms suggestion of 40x40 sounds good

thanks, that should baffle the birds a bit, I know it wont cut them out completely as they can get through that but they wont fly in at speed like the do at the moment.
