Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

There I was all excited just over a week ago that John has agreed to a WIR. Hmmm, should have kept quiet. We've had another chat and have decided that our back garden isn't really big enough for a WIR and the ground isn't level, plus we don't really have an area we can set aside so instead John is going to make some extensions from mesh and join them to the existing Cube run (removing the end door panel and putting it on the end of the new extension instead) - am I making sense?!!! I know we could buy proper Cube extensions but they're just so expensive.

 

Anyhow, has anyone got a good supplier of fox proof, strong mesh? He'll do the fox-proof skirt on the edge of the panels too, so it will be just as safe as the Cube run.
