What's the earliest you can candle from?

What are you hatching? My latest batch of Indian Game and Dorking are white eggs and I could very easily candle at 4 days and saw good detail(I have a high lume candler though, don't know how much that helps). Saying that, I did it again today ( and one of the eggs I had marked as non viable infact was. The other one though I am glad I caught in time as I am sure it would have been a blower

If you have dark/thick shelled eggs then I would wait till day 12 I reckon.

The other one though I am glad I caught in time as I am sure it would have been a blower

 

What would a blower look like?

I haven't done a lot of hatching.

I only say that because I opened it, it had totally liquified and stank, not like the other infertiles I have pulled so far - it had a clear bacterial ring on candling too.
