Solitary chicken - need advice

Does cress regrow once you cut it ? I grew some cress for the girlies which they ate today but it does stink while it grows - they really enjoyed it though and as a belated birthday present I bought them a seed sprouter yesterday and will sort the seeds out for them tomorrow ( my day off ). I was lucky 'cos the shop had 10% off the seeds.

I hope they like it and it doesn't smell as it grows.

no cress is a one hit wonder best thing to use are the mixed salad leaves sold as cut and come I managed to get 3 feeds off them last yearas long as they don't turn all the compost out of the seed trays.use the 12inch seed trays

yeah, I thought that was the case with cress. Good idea to grow cut and grow again salad though - I'll get some seed next time I go to the garden centre.

I thought I might grow mine some grass! They've stripped their part of the garden and won't be allowed to free range the rest of the garden again until Autumn ... so a couple of seed trays of grass that I can cut and feed them should do the trick!
