miller30
Hi maryann some breed of ducks make terrible mothers i would just wait and see if she goes broody on her own none of mine ever have so i put duck eggs under a broody chicken if i want ducklings also do you use hay as your ducks bedding this can be bad for them its better to use straw hope this helps leanne. Guest
Hi I agree some ducks dont make good potential broody's. My Aylesburys were hatched under a neighbours broody hen. The Khakis I had once never went broody either, far too busy outside in the garden to sit on eggs Muscovys are meant to make good mothers? Or find a broody hen! Sorry indie
