Rock N Rose
Ive been thinking about mixing up chicken poo in a bucket full of water, stiring it a few times for a few days then using the water as a feed for the grass. Has anyone tried this, im sure all that nitrogen would green the grass up a treat and save on the old evergreen £8 a go grass food. Someone must have had a go, thoughts would be appreciated. Lewis
I'm sure someone made 'chicken poo soup' and used it on the lawn I used it on the veg last year and it was fine ... not sure if it'd be a bit strong on the lawn though? - maybe use a lot of water
THF Nick
We had our hens on the lawn for a week whilst constructing them their permanent home. Where they were is now very green if somewhat full of holes!
jennydavies
Yes - we use ours on the grass, we make a 5 litre bucket of poo soup and sprinkle it on the lawn with a watering can.
