iandjsmum
Happy Easter everyone. I'm fascinated by this breed but don't own any.... Does anyone have any and can they tell me what they're like to own? Are they good layers and are they easy to keep?
Redwing
I dont have one but have seen them at shows, they seem very calm and sensible chooks They are rare and goodness knows they need some support so you should definitely get some

laurmurf
I've hatched a couple and still have a lovely black pullet who's just started laying. They aren't the brightest buttons but look great - like boats sailing across the garden. Not hard to get hold of if you're near Temple Newsam in Leeds, they sell loads. ISCA
Just being a pedant but they are called SCOTS DUMPY, not Scotch Scotch is a whisky and can refer to mist, broth and eggs Yours, a born n bred Scot
