Stevie Posted April 9, 2010 Share Posted April 9, 2010 I always give mine some corn prior to them going to roost so the gizzard has something nice and chunky to work against inside the crop.They do also help themselves to the mixed grit in a pot inside run before bedtime too. I buy it from local feed merchant in a 2kg bag for £1.30 and is the smaller sized stuff with crushed oyster shell.They always have a munch on it before going to roost.
