Yorkshire Pudding
Help! Our little cat (OK she's not that little) Pippi has developed a passion for laundry. In the last week I have lost seven socks. All of them have turned up behind the sofas and chair in the living room. We only discovered what was happening when I actually caught her in the act - socks airing on radiator, cat climbs onto windowsill above, carefully selects a sock then runs off with it in her mouth to add to her stash. Since then I have caught her trying to take a pair of OH's jeans from the ironing basket - luckily they were too heavy for her. Also jumping into the washing basket to try to steal from there, and climbing inside the washing machine if the door is left open for a moment - fortunately she was spotted and turfed out. I've never before had a cat that swipes laundry - has anyone else? Mine have usually just tried to swipe edible stuff, although both of mine carry toys around in their mouth all the time - perhaps she just thinks they are playthings? I'm trying to catch her in the act with a camera, but so far no luck!
Raina
Could she be pregnant? Our cat did exactly the same thing,i remember her trying to walk off with socks, knickers,my dads boxers and my sisters baby clothes (I was 2 or 3 at the time and she was about 1) Turned out she was making a nest behind our TV unit, a couple of days later she had kittens

Space Chick
My dog frequently steals dirty pants and socks that OH leaves on the bedroom floor (Note is for OH, not for the dog, which deserves a )
Yorkshire Pudding
So far she seems to prefer clean laundry! Good thing too, my sons both think that dirty clothes belong on the floor to fester...
