Mollie333 Posted April 17, 2010 Share Posted April 17, 2010 So i woke up at 6am, all the chickens were up and ready to free range, first before i let them out i checked on them, all was fine, then i got the layers pellets ready since they harass you for food, then let them out, Edward (Pekin x Silkie) was being extremley noisy, dont let the name fool you- shes a girl. But oh my goodness she was really noisy, Rita (Gingernut) was also sqworking at the top of her little voice!.. as you see, my family that i live with.. was not happy. but the new girls are silent (Peggy and Pat, 1 white 1 black silkies) is it because of the new girls that the old girls are being loud? theres been no fighting yet, just john and edward chasing the silkies about like headless chickens, pages poultry was really fun, also! there was goose eggs and goslings all over the place, it was a good day out, and the fact that i brought 2 new birds, oh the best day of my life! auch nice people, i reccomend going there, its a bit of a travel from Heanor, but really it was wearth it.
