As you know we have been trying to pick ours up all week - got back from being out and OH and ES had th girls out and OH was holding Bathsheba. He then managed to get Del - and she squatted down for him but wouldnt for me. My friends hens sit on her OH's knee I wasnt too happy as he gloated big time!! Space Chick Posted April 23, 2010 Share Posted April 23, 2010 It is an interesting question I think chickens have "favourite" humans, but don't know if its a gender thing. For example, my Leela will jump on MY lap for a cuddle, but never OH, then Susan will be cuddled by her Dad for ages, but sulks if I pick her up.
