I keep lizards and my ladies enjoy some "exotic" bugs very much.

 

I'd be tempted to get some seeds, corn, bugs and eggs and throw it into a blender and keep on adding stuff until it is at a consistanty that you can mould and then make a cake with it in the same way your make a sand castle
