How to mend a toaster

Recommended Posts

I know grills do toast better, but I always think that it's a bit extravagant to put a whole grill on for two slices of bread.

I think you should give up the idea of fixing it, and look for creative ways to recycle it. How about taking the innards out and growing some bulbs up through the slots? Or you could use it as a handy letter-rack ... line the bottom and fill it with water and put flowers in it? The possibilities are endless! Come on Omleteers, some more suggestions!

:lol: Of course, my line is that there's nowt that can't be repaired with either velcro, duck tape, bostic or a screwdriver. Failing that, I have a very large axe and a handy panel beater  Power tool queen, me!

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I am going to think about it and see how it goes. I really have so little toast, or toasted stuff that using the grill might well be the best option, although it does mean taking out all the baking trays that currently 'live' there
