We have just bought home our three new girls a Legbar,Pekin Frizzle and Pekin Bantam. All 10 weeks old.SOOOOO excited

We have them on Growers pellets but is there any other treats/snacks we can give them that is safe for them?

The lady we got them from said not corn yet ?

Just wanted to get them used to eating next to the partition where the big girls are ready for intergration in a couple of months time?

I feed mine 'chicken scratch' from Garvo its like very small bits of corn

 

To be honest though they'll be ok with normal corn as long as you provide some grit for them (as this will grind the corn up in the gizzard)

 

Lettuce or cabbage is ok too

 

A little tuna fish would be appreciated (not in brine or if it is then rinse it)

 

Some crumbled toast would be ok

 

Its like anything - all in moderation - small amounts of treats only
