Well, actually Tuesday should have been THE day but got a call from Chris from Bay animal housing to say that he had problems getting all the pieces into his van (as he doesn't normally deliver himself) and although he got it all in, he himself couldn't get behind the wheel!!!! so would it be ok for Thursday when he would get a man and van? I said no problem :( I could wait :( I hadn't been waiting for nearly a month :( . I'm just pleased he kept me informed.

So here we are, Thursday, waiting......he should be here at 1 ish  will keep you informed, and if I can manage it will post photos too!!!

Can anyone explain why I'm soooo excited about a pile of 2 by 1 wood and weldmesh?:lol::lol:

Sorry Plum  Run was completed in just over an hour! It's great!! :P and much bigger than I imagined. Chris is a really nice guy and it sounds as if he is getting lots of business from here. It's great to see someone working hard and getting the rewards. I don't know how he does it for the money !

Have taken photos but didn't have time to yesterday to post them as had to get some work done, then I was teaching an evening class....... :( will play around later today and get them uploaded. The girls aren't in there yet, I want to give the eglu a good pressure wash, get some fresh wood chip, and generally make it nice for them. So that seems like a job for the weekend as have still got a lot of work to do for an exhibition next week. Why do I always leave things till the last minute? :shameonu:

 Just over an hour - shall tell OH we've got a challenge on. Yes you want it right when you put them in and you better give the girls a lecture about keeping it nice.

What's your exhibition?

Look forward to pics :D No pressure - much

Couldn't wait till weekend.....so have just jet washed the eglu, put down the wood chip, got out the new feeder and water container, and in went the chooks. I also remembered there were a couple of tyres in the cellar (from son's old car which he hasn't got anymore - why do we get left with the rubbish?) so I've put them in there for them to perch on and I might put some dry earth in one for them to dust bathe. So the girls are in there now and don't seem at all impressed  I wish we had got the WIR earlier, but hey ho everything comes..............and now what about those new girlies, any suggestions?

Glad to hear that you're getting your run next Friday Plum, are you assembling it yourselves?

The exhibition next week is Bury & Ramsbottom Arts Week in aid of Bury Hospice. There are a selection of artists exhibiting and a percentage of any sales will go to the hospice. I will be exhibiting 12 ceramics pieces. I will see if I can find a link.

I promise I will find some time to learn how to upload the photos over the weekend!
