Hello everyone.

 

We normally go away and my inlaws come around to check on the girls/feed cat etc. However, i'm plannig to get more rescue hens at the end of the month - i have an empty cube and will partition off my wir for them - but when do you think it'll be safe to leave them for a few nights??

If no one knowledgable is there to oversee them for any problems then I would say 'when they are ready' which probably isnt a lot of help but some rescue hens seem to cope better than others

Once they are settled in, happy, know where everything is, will come back to the run after FR (if they FR), ETC. Then they should be ready for you to go away for a few days, with someone to top up food, water, etc.
