penelope
Hi There We have 2 beautiful babies hatched at 10.30 am & 7.30 pm. The rest of the eggies are doing a very frustrating absolutly nothing!! I know that you must not open the inccy & the yoke sac will keep the chicks going for a couple of days but it seems that some people remove the chicks to a brooder & let the others carry on hatching. I am going to leave them in the inccy & hope i have some more hatch overnight but I was wondering how long do you leave them in there if nothing happens to the others? thanks & fingers crossed that they have a busy time tonight. Egluntyne
I'd leave them in the incubator overnight, and quickly remove them in the morning, so long as they are dry and fluffy.
Redwing
Leave them unit the majority have hatched (normally with 24 hours) then quickly whip them out providing that they are completely dry and fluffy do not keep the inccy open for long at all get it back closed asap
