Madchook
Last night I finished my WIR and decided to put the 3 big chicks in and as it was a new environment, use the opprtunity to integrate Bacon, the Red Dorking who has had ducklings as companions.... turns out Bacon isn't much bothered about being a chicken The ducks have learnt to properly Quack their distress (but yay, we have at least one proper Quack which means girl...mmmm duck eggs!) and Bacon spent all the time cheeping in reply! This morning I put 'it' back with the ducks because I felt bad I figure it isn't the end of the world, quite amusing though
Lewis
Ducks do seem to get attached Jemima + Gerald shout and shout when they can't see each other. He runs at you + 'pecks' though, so have been carrying him round + pushing him low to the ground. If only it was the other way round with chickens too - that cockerels were quieter!
