oneyolktoanother Posted May 22, 2010 Share Posted May 22, 2010 as we have alo of trees by our garden we seem to get alot of flies and nats, any idea how to get rid of them they never seem to go in the runs/coop but are around the garden driving me mad when the girls free range when im out with them (cause of the foxes) i hose the paths etc down, wandering what they dont like to get rid of them? thanks in advance Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Stedic Posted May 22, 2010 Share Posted May 22, 2010 Citronella generally helps - I got some essence from Holland and Barrett. I've put a few drops onto the coop, it should work but there are still a few flies, I guess the heat is causing that though. If its only a problem in the evening you could try those candles you can get from B&Q etc - quite a few come on long poles/stakes so they would be well out of the way of curious chickens.
