Sooo much pooping

Hi guys, quick question before I order, I have built a 3.2m x 4 m walk in run. I was going to get the cube with the 2m run to put inside the WIR. The eglu run so that if i get any more chickens I will have a space to seperate them.

 

But ive just been thinking that its £170 for the run with the cube, so am i just wasting money by buying it? If i do get any more chickens I want to get an eglu classic to add into the run so i could seperate them with the run that comes with that and use the £170 towards the cost of it couldnt i?

 

Any thoughts of if i should or shouldnt get the run with the cube would be appreciated.

Hi stehaggan, you know your setup and plans best, but ... I think if any new chickens will live in the Eglu (and not in the Cube), then it may in fact be much easier to use that run to separate them rather than the Cube run. I suppose it depends whether you would prefer to enclose the new chickens (which I presume will sleep in the Eglu) or your existing chickens (in the Cube).

 

I should also add that if you decide against getting the Cube run now, then it will certainly be possible to buy the run bits separately later on.

If it were me, I'd get the eglu classic.

thanks, thats what i was thinking .. if i just get the cube now then a classic with a run later on to have as the quarantined bit, that way the bigger cube has the bigger run all the time.
