Unsecure chicken perches

Really quick question ... if we're not intending to join both ends of our netting together, is it okay to fix each end to the run (wooden corner posts of run)? Will this earth the supply or anything? Am trying to maximise amt of space for chickens but keeping henhouse and run outside their fenced enclosure, if you get my drift.

I would have thought that would have been okay.

 

Just make sure the henhouse cannot be used as a platform for the hens to get out or the foxes to get in!

I think it could be ok - you can get plastic hooks that screw into posts, maybe that would work?

Thanks for replies. Had to put entire house & run inside netting for now as couldn't attach end posts to run/house without them coming into contact with weld-mesh. It's fine for now but ought to be able to get insulator for later on.
