shoura
Cilla has been broody again for a couple of days so I thought I would nip it in the bud and put her into the cage of shame yesterday evening....However, I have now found that she has laid an egg in the cage ( and is busy eating it throught the gaps in the floor) So was I mistaken in thinking she was broody??? I don't think so to be honest as she was on the nest all the time and twice her usual size when I turfed her off it! She's been broody twice before so I think I know the symptoms! But---I thought they stopped laying when they were broody??? Or does the broodiness come first and then they stop laying a few days later?? Should I leave her in the cage for a couple more days? Lewis
Is she still sitting down like a broody? Maybe she's just coming out of it?
