Mollie333
After many days of wondering, the manly silkie, Peggy, started crouching! We was so over the moon, i'm not sure if she laid an egg today.. cause we found a quite big cream shiny egg. bigger than a pekin but smaller than a hybrid. jennydavies
Oh, that's really good news it's always a bit of a worry what you would do with the boy - rehoming is not always easy, we were very lucky.

littleredsquirrel
Hurrah! Now I'm hoping this is a good omen and that Miaise is a girl too!
Mollie333
I was very scared if peggy was a boy, because the breeder said that HE would be caged and showed with a large female, i took her down and she turned out to be a girl, but with large face furniture and a huge chest. she offered to swap her if we have any doubts, because shes crowing, but we took her home anyways.
