ubereglu
Hiya, Do any of you know when you have to plant pumpkin seeds?
Egluntyne
According to the instructions on my packet of Pumpkin seeds: Indoors Late April - Early June. 1 seed, a half inch deep in a 3" pot of seed compost. Harden off and plant in growing position in June, allowing 4 ft between plants. Outdoors Late May - June in the growing position. Pinch out growing tip of each plant once four fruits have started to form and water well, especially in dry weather. Raise fruits on straw to protect against rotting. Harvest: August - first frost. Store for later use in cool dry conditions.

ubereglu
I'm going to take a risk with my pumpkins as they are now quite big as I sowed them just before Easter! So they will get planted out with my sweetcorn this weekend!
