Goldstar
Hi to everyone, I have just brought my chickens home and put them into their coop and run (almost lost one as she jumped out of the box and had to try and catch her, thankfully I did). They are being very noisy at the moment and was just wondering if they are going to always be like this or is it because they have a new home and are just getting used to it, they have been in the run for about 10 minutes and havent stopped making a noise. It isnt a gentle buck, buck as I was expecting, its more of a buck buuuuck, but quite loud. I am very worried I am going to get complaints from the neighbours. And I obviously dont want that. If anyone could help or give advice I would appreciate it, thank you. By the way they are all goldlines. Thanks again. Olivia
stehaggan
Hi Olivia, I got my 6 just over a week ago and they were the same. I had the same concerns too but thankfully they have calmed down. Just let them settle in and have a nosey about. Ste
Egluntyne
It will take them a day or two to settle down. Don't worry.
Goldstar
Thank you for your replies. They seem to have settled down and are exploring their new home. They have all had something to eat and drink. No doubt I will have many more questions as I go on, so know where to come for advice. Thanks again.
