art12345
Im after some advice for tullulah a year old sultan cross. She started laying a few months ago and laid well until fairly recently. I occasionally find a softy or a hard shelled egg with a softy at the same time. I wouldnt be worried about this except for the fact she is quite thin. She seeems to go quiet and doesnt eat before she lays a softy as it makes her feel unwell. She has oyster sell grit and has beeen wormed recently. Any ideas how i can help her with this
Plum
Poor Tullulah. You could give her some codliver oil to help her absorb and use calcium and maybe a supplement like limestone flour or zolcal D for a week to see if it helps. I wouldn't use it for long because I understand it can switch off their normal mechanisms for accessing calcium but may help her over a glitch.
