JLC
Hi I bought 2 lovely chickens about 8 weeks ago, we where told they were 20 weeks old then, one, a colombian blacktail, has layed an egg every morning since then. The other a silver link hasn't started, they both have the same diet, layers pellets, corn, grit, plenty of greens and stuff. Anyone got any tips? theherd123
Time and patience are the key i think. Has your silver link started to crouch yet when you place your hand over her? This is a sign she is maturing and therefore may lay soon.
Plum
Perhaps she was a bit younger than you thought
JLC
Thanks for advice, I think maybe she was not quite as old as her friend, I will try and be patient!
