Smart Feeder - Light sensor values

I have noticed that a couple of my hens have small feathers on their fronts that appear to stick out a little. Is this a maturing thing or do they sometimes peck their feathers there. I first noticed it on my most mature chicken (they are all POL). I can think of no reason why they would do that but being new to chicken keeping I am unaware of how they change as they mature. The feathers feel sticky! Could be it that our hens are just a bit messy with their water with the apple cider vinegar in it? One hen doesn't have curly front feathers, maybe she is a clean drinker!

Just a thought, have they been sleeping in the nestbox rather than roosting

I am not sure, I will have to check. What would this do to their feathers? One of the four is still ok at the moment.
