my eggs are rocking when can i expect some chicks ?

im so excited ive sat here watching them for the last half hour lol i caught one move out of the corner of my eye earlier and thought i imagned it but ive sat and watched them (i know im sad lol)and i have 3 rocking i really dont want to go to work tomorro lol

Dont go

to work! Take a skivey day, whatever you need to do! Mine hatched bank holiday Monday so I was lucky!

When were yours due to hatch? 21 days should be hatch day how exciting!

day 21 is either tomoror (thursday ) or friday i cant remember the exact date i set them

Hi, I have just hatched 4 lovely little bantam chicks and couldn't believe that they started hatching exactly 21 days!!

Was expecting to give or take a few days like child birth but it was on the dot! If you put your ear to the incubator you can hear them cheeping! I noticed a tiny little "hole" 11.45pm and went to bed expecting there to be a ball of fluff waiting for me in the morning and thought there was something wrong when we got up next morn and nothing had happened! In a way I was glad because within the next 2 hours it had hatched!!! Kids had to have beans on toast for their tea that day and the house was a mess but it was fantastic to watch!! Sorry I went on a bit but you'll be the same I can guarantee Keep watching and forget work and get takeaway for tea!!!

well i have 2 hatched i only put 6 in the incy and they were posted so not to bad i guess i chucked 2 out on day 14 as they were clear .

 

they are beautiful ive has one warren hatch and one CLB ,the warren is a boy but is beautiful ,and im pretty sure my legbar is a girl (dark strip all the way down the back ?) im waiting for a couple of breeders to get back to me about getting another CLB girl a coupe of days old as i want to keep her and dont fancy trying to introduce a single hen

 

but on the upside as only 2 hatched i get to do it again as my mum still wants a couple to add to her garden flock i will post pics in the morning as im done in today i was up at 4 watching the CLB hatch lol

 

p.s ive never had my kids so quiet they have sat by the brooder most of the day just watching and twisting around so they can see under the electric hen lol

they warren girls are a sandy brown mine is pure yellow lol
